Tasty Find: Frooze Balls a perfect on-the-go SCD Snack

Delicious bite-sized energy balls that taste like dessert and are a perfect SCD snack. They are also IBD-AID, Paleo, Keto, Vegan, Refined Sugar-Free, and Dairy-Free.

Prepare to be amazed. If you’re looking for an awesome SCD snack, you’ve found it.

Frooze Balls are not your normal “energy ball.” No sir. They are so much better!

I would equate them more to an extra delicious, dessert truffle ball! At least for the chocolate flavors. What makes them different? Each Frooze Ball is filled with a wonderful, gooey, molten center.

The first flavor I tried was the Chocolate Hazelnut. It immediately sent me back to my childhood when I loved Ferrero Rochers. Chocolate and hazelnut are such a good combination. I was hooked!

My cousin introduced me to Frooze Balls. We were very excited when we read the ingredient list and realized that Frooze Balls are SCD and IBD-AID-friendly! Frooze Balls are also Paleo, Keto, vegan, dairy-free, refined sugar-free, and preservative-free.

Frooze Balls use a mixture of dates, nuts, coconut, fruits, and other whole, clean ingredients to create their flavors.

They are bite-sized. This makes them great to use on-the-go as an SCD snack similar to a protein bar. I also love that you can put them out on a platter for guests as a little bite-sized snack or dessert.

The company behind the magic is super cool. Based in New Zealand, the company is committed to being clean and green. They use recyclable packaging, and their products are 100% plant-based with simple ingredient lists containing whole foods.

I highly recommend grabbing a bag of Frooze Balls to give them a try!

A Great SCD Snack

I often get into a rut of just grabbing the same snack bars every day. It can be hard to find a good quality SCD snack. Frooze Balls are actually really easy to order online. For more information on where to find them, scroll down. 🙂

One of the things I love about Frooze Balls is their size – one package contains five bite-sized balls. In total, that is about the same serving size as a protein bar. You can either eat all five at once or just have one or two as a quick snack or sweet treat. They make for great pre-workout or post-workout fuel too!

Favorite Flavor: Chocolate Hazelnut

So far my favorite flavor is the Chocolate Hazelnut. As mentioned, it is like a tasty dessert truffle. Its ingredients are dates, peanuts, hazelnuts, coconut, raw cacao, pink salt, and natural flavor.

I am still in the process of trying out the Peanut Butter and Jelly, Lemon Cheesecake, and Blueberry Crumble flavors. I will keep you posted, but I’m guessing these all make for great SCD snacks as well.
